Nasarawa United Unveils New Signings For Next Season
Nigeria Professional Football League side, Nasarawa United FC, on Friday, 14, unveiled six new signings, as the Club prepare for the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League Season. The event took place at the Club’s House in Lafia.
The list includes three new players, including two goalkeepers, while one is a former player of the Lafia-based side who pitched tent elsewhere last campaign.
The new signings are Sulaiman Jamilu, an attacker from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna, right full-back Victor Dennis, from Plateau United FC; Central defender, Benjamin Fredrick from ABS FC of Ilorin, Kwara State, while goalkeepers, Yinka David and Jerry Isaac both joined from Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna and MFM FC, of Lagos, respectively.
Homeboy and attacker, Anas Yusuf, returned to the Solid Miners’ squad following a spell with Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi last term.
The squad numbers of the new signings will be confirmed in due course.
United will sign a few more players in the coming days to solidify their squad.
The team has lined up some graded Pre-season games to blend the new acquisitions with existing players in order to keep them in fine form ahead of the new League Season.
