Group Carpets Critic Over Comments On Wike, Fubara
A socio-political pressure organisation, Rivers Equity Group, has carpeted a persistent critic of the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, and the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, over his recent attempts to malign and discredit the state governor and the governorship candidate of the PDP ahead of the 2023 elections.
The group, which condemned David Oguzierem, for the unrelenting attacks on the duo, said that the avid critic has no integrity and character to undermine the performing governor and the flag bearer of PDP, given their pedigrees and the confidence Rivers people already have in the two heavyweight politicians.
The statement reads in full, “The pains and hatred of men has no limit as it drives the heart of men through the stinking waste receptacle to recycle trashy rubbish, feeling more hates and bitterness of envy on whatever that does not go their ways because of their selfish interest.
“This is not far from the characters of David Oguzierem, who is practically expressing his hates towards Governor Nyesom Wike and the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2023 general election, Sir Siminialayi Fubara.
“Ordinarily, we would have read his piece and passed with regret of wasted data and precious time, but it won’t be nice leaving thousands of readers to dwell in falsehood as planned by David Oguzierem. From the falsehood intends of David’s piece he has repeatedly addressed Governor Wike as Governor Wiked, and addressed Sir Siminialayi Fubara, a respected title holder of the Ancient Opobo Kingdom and a practical Christian as Mr Simcard Fubara. David Oguzierem, where is your respect for elders, perhaps you grew up not having respect for elders or you don’t have elders.
“David Oguzierem alleged that:Sir Siminialayi Fubara is Governor Wike’s third term agenda; Sir Siminialayi Fubara’s success as a civil servant was unimaginable; Sir Siminialayi Fubara is Governor Wike’s cousin; and Sir Siminialayi Fubara is a deadweight candidate.
“We read this piece and considered his allegations as laughable and exhibition of hates, bitterness and ignorance of a frustrated mouthpiece of failures. We shall respond to your falsehood with little piece and SIM-ple questions that it’s intended to SIM-plify your hates and bitterness of a harmless man that has never had any personal issues with you or your paymasters.
“If Dakuku Peterside had won the 2015 general election, would you have considered him Rotimi Amaechi’s third term agenda? Is it a crime for Sir Siminialayi to have been a successful civil servant? To have a meritorious record of service with no single query is now a crime?
“Sir Siminialayi Fubara was a civil servant that rose through the ranks of integrity and accountability to become a permanent secretary in the state Ministry of Finance from where he was appointed the accountant general of the state.
“Alleging that Dr Siminialayi is Governor Wike’s cousin is the highest height of ignorance and stupidity. To be a son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Fubara, is that a crime?
“Sir Siminialayi is from Opobo Town, his father is from Fubara’s compound and his mother is from Asiparabietogha (Cyprian) Jaja’s compound. Port Harcourt to Opobo town is just an hour journey courtesy of the good works of Governor Nyesom Wike who has made it possible after 150 years of the existence of Opobo Kingdom. Drive down to verify his parental lineage before coming to mislead the general public.
“Calling Sir Siminialayi a dead weight candidate is a confirmation of fear running through your veins and those that of your paymasters. The Peoples Democratic Party has presented her candidate for the 2023 general election through a well and peaceful conducted primary election that saw the emergency of Sir Siminialayi Fubara. All parties involved for the 2023 general election has gotten their standard bearers, let’s meet at the general poll by 2023 to determine the dead weights.
“Where is the offense, Mr David Oguzierem? Or could the crime be the emergence of Sir Siminialayi Fubara as PDP flag bearer?Where is the crime?
“David Oguzierem, the self-styled policy affairs analyst, fails dismally to ‘analyse’ anything. You just struggled in vain to deprecate our flawless candidate, abandoning burning issues of national insecurity, failed economy, ASUU perpetual strike, termites eating up national documents, snake swallowing billions of Naira, failed Federal Government of APC to chase shadows.
“But let him be pardoned for that is the path of blind partisanship and destructive opposition.
“Life springs surprises and the wise work in tandem, the reality of Siminialayi’s emergence.
“Do we need reminding you that a recent governor who did not even run in the election emerged and occupied the Brick House as was ruled by the Supreme Court?
“We of the Equity Group will not stand by and watch destructive element’s cast senseless aspersions on our candidate, Sir Siminialayi Fubara.
“We would on the contrary, welcome ideas to move Rivers State forward to the benefit of the good people”, the group said.
