Group Partners School Connect, Digitalises 50 Classrooms
A group, Education Reformers Association of Nigeria (EDURAN), is collaborating with School Connect Africa Project (SCAP) to boost efficiency and productivity in learning.
Already, the group is set to roll out the first 5,000 -classroom digitalisation scheme in various private schools in Nigeria, beginning with 50 classrooms Smart Interactive Learning suite pilot projects in EDURAN member schools. EDURAN is an umbrella body of private schools.
President of the organisation, Solomon Odemona, said EDURAN is in partnership with SCAP, to bring global visibility to every participating private school irrespective of its physical location.
Odemona said SCAP is a platform school owners should belong to, as it positions the school for better efficiency and productivity in the education business.
Head of Special Projects, Mr. Abraham Edeni, said the collaboration is to power 50 classrooms across EDURAN member schools with Smart Interactive Learning suite.
Edeni noted that the education narrative was changing and school owners who could not flow with this change might become “extinct” if there is no form of leverage for them to stay relevant.
SCAP was described as “the first digital address of schools as well as first edu-economy platform in Africa, where current education information trends, data, goods and services operate in one place.
The SCAP platform was designed to “house all registered private schools in Nigeria and Africa” as well as parents, learners, teachers and vendors of goods and services in the education space.
It offers edu-business training for school owners, access to collaboration, synergy and partnerships, empowerment for teachers, parent-school owners interactive forum among others.
