Rivers Farmers List Benefits Of Cassava Processing Plant
The Rivers State Branch of All farmers Association of Nigeria(AFAN) said the cassava processing plant recently commissioned by governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will improve the economic fortunes of millions of cassava farmers in the state.
The association, which said this in a statement made avoidable to news men in Port Harcourt said the project has also challenged the farmers to put in their best with a view to reaping the benefits of the plant.
According to the statement jointly signed by the state chairman of the association, Comrade Ofimaobari Igwe and secretary, Abraham Okwuikpo, the governor has also done tremendously well in the area of infrastructural development”
The generality of all farmers Association, Rivers State chapter, appreciates his Excellency for the gesture he has so far demonstrated on the areas of infrastructure and human development to make our dear state number one viable state in the entire nation.
