NAPPS Assures On Quality Education
The President of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Rivers State Chapter, Hon Victor Green says his association is committed to improving the standards of education in the state.
Green stated this while chatting with journalists on the sidelines of a recent one-day interactive session organised by the state Ministry of Education in Port Harcourt with a view to ensuring that private school operators in comply with relevant educational policies in the state.
He said members of the association would continue to abide by the policies of the government, adding that the association have been holding regular meetings to ensure that private school owners comply with qualitative education policy in the state.
The state NAPPS boss used the medium to commend the state government for addressing some challenges affecting the organisation during the meeting and advocated a periodic meeting “As for substandard schools, we have advocated that all private schools in the state be given full registration as it will go a long way to fight quacks”, he added.
Also speaking, the NAPPS Chairman, Eleme LGA, Pastor Raymond Atuh lauded the state government over the interactive session, adding that the members of NAPPS in Eleme would abide by the Education Ministry’s directive in order to improve quality of education in the area.
“Although, our schools are doing well with regard to external competitions due to high standard of education the association has been advocating for”.
