Cup Donor Commends Players’ Discipline
Cup donor of the on-going Unity Football Cup competition in Omuma Local Government Area, Prince Destiny Amadi, has expressed satisfaction with the level of discipline exhibited by the players so far in the tournament.
Speaking in a chat with Sports writers in Port Harcourt, Amadi assured that he will ensure that the second edition could be more glamorous following the high level of discipline exhibited by all participating wards in the competition.
He, however, urged the players to continue with same spirits so that the aim of the competition would be achieved at the end of the day.
In the results of matches played, ward 5 and 6 played one (1-1) all draw while ward 7 defeated ward 1 by a lone goal.
The donor promised that the tournament which is the maiden edition would be a yearly event.
