Former Commissioner Tasks Students On Good Morals

Former Commissioner for Special Duties, Eng. Davies Ibiamu has urged students of the state to desist from acts that are capable of tarnishing their family image.
Eng. Ibiamu who stated this during the fifth graduation end of year celebration of Queenie American International School in Port Harcourt, also encouraged students to be up and doing. Adding that it is good to be at the top.
He urged students to put their unflinching trust in God, stressing that the good God will see them through.
The former commissioner, who presented the various awards for academic excellence to the pupils and students of Queenie American International School lauded the prestigious award bestowed on his wife, Mrs. Ruth Ibiamu.
Also speaking, the Proprietress, Mrs. Queen Otutu, said the school, which was established September 2004 is proud to graduate over 50 pupils and students.
Mrs. Otutu opined that in the academic world, the performance(s) of her pupils and students are excellent. Adding that parents who choose where their children should receive education are not making a wrong decision.
She thanked all delegates and parents who graced the occasion and wish them journey mercy.
Earlier, the Resident Pastor of Winners Chapel, Rev. Titus praised the school for turning out good students.
Highlights of the occasion include presentation of awards and gifts to parents and students, side attractions which include Igbo cultural dance, Benin cultural dance dedicated to the Proprietress, Mrs. Queen Otutu, Rivers cultural dance, the performance of a pop dance in honour of the King of Pop, Late Michael Jackson and South African Zulu dance.
