Leader Gives Wike Kudos On Peace, Infrastructure
Leader of Omuma Legislative Assembly, Hon. Reginald Promise, has lauded Governor Nyesom Wike for the peace and infrastructural development in the local government and Rivers State.
Promise, who represents Ward 2 at the Omuma Legislative Assembly, gave the commendation this on Saturday during the Rivers PDP campaign flag-off at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
He noted that he had continued to be impressed with the visible peace in the area and the State which, according to him, came through the efforts of Governor Wike, adding that it has brought visible transformation across the state.
Promise, who also expressed gratitude to Governor Wike and PDP leaders for believing in their leader, Hon Kelechi Nworgu, said Omuma people are elated for the choice of their illustrious son, Hon Nworgu as PDP Federal House of Representatives candidate come 2023, stressing that Omuma people must appreciate Governor Wike’s uncommon transformation in the State.
“Governor Wike has recorded outstanding achievements in projects delivery. We can witness the plethora of impactful projects being commissioned by Nigerians in the state. Even as I speak, more are being flagged off not minding that he has a few months to leave office. Anyone who visits Rivers State now can attest that Governor Wike is performing very well and Omuma people are happy to be with him,” he said.
Promise commended the leadership qualities of Hon Nworgu which have often brought victories to PDP, describing Omuma as home of PDP.
“No doubt, Omuma comes first in every Rivers PDP activities that we have proved today. We were able to achieve this because of the unity which Hon Kelechi symbolizes,” he said.
Promise believes emphatically that come 2023, a new government led by PDP will be formed in Rivers State, and urged the people to imbibe the spirit of unity and love, saying, it is all Omuma needs to support Hon Kelechi Nworgu and other PDP candidates to coast to victory.
