Council Boss Seeks Collaboration With NLNG In Infrastructure, Security

The Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Council, Dame Anengi Barasua Dagogo-Wilcox, has urged the management of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) to collaborate with the government on infrastructure and security in her jurisdiction in order to achieve long-term development.
A statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman, Henry Hart, said Dame Dagogo-Wilcox stated this when the management of NLNG led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, paid her a courtesy visit at Government Lodge, Bonny.
The LG Boss also encouraged the multinational company to engage more in the area of support to security agencies, citing issues such as employment, construction of the Semidia Road in Abalamabie, and the potential expansion of Bonny power infrastructure to accommodate the rising population.
On his part, Dr. Philip Mshelbila who expressed satisfaction with the leadership of the Council boss, assured her of the support the management of NLNG. He stated that plans to complement Bonny Utility Company’s efforts in power infrastructure upgrade to meet the rising population are already in the pipeline.
Other members of the NLNG Management Team in the deligation include, the Deputy Managing Director, Olalekan Ogunleye; and General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, Andy Odeh.
