Three Igwuruta OSPAC members have been remanded in the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre after they were arraigned in connection with the murder of Princewill Ogbonda and Peter Opurum.

Following complaints by family of the two missing persons, Police invaded the OSPAC office and arrested Ikechukwu Amadi, Bright Nwogu and Chiwado Donatus after their commander and others failed to honor police invitation.
When the matter came up, Magistrate Enyindah Kennedy advised that the case file be transferred to the DPP for legal advice because his court lacks jurisdiction.
Magistrate Kennedy after adjourning the matter to 29th of April urged lawyer to the suspects to approach the high court to seek the bail of his clients.
The Tide gathered that the three Igwuruta OSPAC members and others now at large are facing seven-count charges of murder, attacking of Igwuruta Police Station and freeing one Promise Nna-Wele from lawful custody as well as being in possession of one pump action gun without a license.
Others include, assaulting police officers on their lawful duty and stealing of AK-47 rifle and handcuff both valued at one million, ten thousand naira being property of the Nigeria Police Force.
