Rivers Patriots Slam APC For Blackmailing RSG
The Coalition of Rivers Patriots, a pressure group in Rivers State has accused the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) of running a dubious campaign of blackmail, deception and falsehood against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a bid to hoodwink the electorate into believing in its failed policies at the national level.
The group accused the opposition of putting the nation’s development on the reverse gear in the last two years as well as setting new records of governance by proxy.
A statement signed by the coalition’s Publicity Secretary, Barrister Barilede Thompson and made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt, last Monday, indicated that Nigerians no longer have confidence in the APC, adding that the party was on its way out of power at the centre.
The coalition further maintained that Nigerians were now wiser, having realised that APC does not have any credible roadmap to take Nigeria to greater heights.
It described as laughable a press statement issued by the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, showcasing its traditional hallucination, that Governor Nyesom Wike was destroying the PDP in state and at federal level.
