Movie Markers Shun Ini Edo …As She Faces Marital Crisis
If the news making the
rounds in the entertainment clan is any thing to write home about, Nollywood’s screen goddess Ini Edo-Ehiagwinas fortunes in Nollywood seems to have taken a down ward course as the dark movie marketers over the allegation that she is pompous and undisciplined.
It was gathered that this is the reason she has not been getting roles in moves as she used to get sometime past, while actress like Mercy Johnson has her baby. The story also has it that the delectable Nollywood actress has not featured in any movies recently which confirms the story.
It was also gathered that the Akwa-Ibom born actress was also not been having it easy with her marriage due to her inability to conceive, but the latest twist to everything is the current crisis facing her husband Mr. Phillip Ehiagwina in faraway America his place of abode. According to our source, the actress husband is on verge of being repatriated and his citizenship withdrawn.
The source has it that the crisis started when Phillip who had been married in USA to a lady named Ruth Okoro before meeting Ini Edo was said to have divorced the lady to later marry Ini Edo. The report has it that Phillip knowing what he wanted from the marriage was to use the lady to get a citizenship was quick to walk away from the marriage after he had successfully laid his hands on what he married her for, leaving the lady who claimed that the met her a virgin in the lurch.
Recently, stories emanating from the U.S. are that Philip Ehiagusna’s dealing with his former wife is currently under the investigation of the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) as well as the United States immigration. The current situation of things seems to have triggered some series of reactions from Phillip’s family who are blaming the misfortune on Ini edo.
They accused her of bringing the misfortune on their son due to her bad behaviour. Some of the husband’s kith and kin recalled a media report that alleged that the actress was practicing lesbianism which she quickly refuted. Other relations of the husband are against the Nollywood dive that she has been found several times doing things that are not befitting of a married woman as she has decided not to let go of her clubbing and drinking habit.
Her dilemma also stems from the fact that she was said to be responsible for all the money spent in the process of their wedding both in Nigeria and the USA. But a source claimed that her husband’s non receding appetite for women has been adding more strain to the marriage that most will describe as marriage of convience as the couple do not live together under the same roof.
According to an insider report, the wife Ini Edo is based in Nigeria, while the husband living in the United States of America with the two not having any plans to agree to live together. The source revealed that the two do not even stay under the same roof anytime the husband is here in Nigeria of the wife in the US. Findings also reveal that both have however not bordered to issue any statement to deny the story which is unlike them as they are usually quick to answer such as issue.
It is also worthy of note that reports of one scuffle or the other have been a frequent things in the marriage only to be dispelled by one Greek gift or the other to convince the people that all is well, while all is not actually well.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
