Mr Dokubo decried the
negative image the impostors had brought to the profession and advised
all those involved in the menace to quickly retrace their steps or be prepared to face the consequences
of their action.
The NUJ chairman said the union is always prepared and
committed to ensure that the fight against touting and quackery in the
journalism profession is won and urged members of the task force to take the
assignment seriously.
Responding on behalf of other members, the chairman of the
task force, Mr Felix Okogbule, appealed to journalists in the state to see
themselves as members of the task force by supplying useful information to the
task force to make their work easier.
