weeks in separate sessions.
This is in line with the on-going
effort of the Rivers State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning to
transit to Budget Planning, Preparing, Implemention and Monitoring software

“This workshop is very crucial to
the continued effort of the Governor Chibuike Amaechi-led administration to
further develop human capacity in public service, as well as build a solid rock
institution that is a bedrock of sustainable democratic governance”.
The statement stressed that the
workshop will enable the ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to plan
and prepare for their budget on time, adding “this is because all the necessary
information needed for the preparation are ready in their Computer System.”
The workshop will be key in the
series of regular workshops and seminars the Ministry of Budget and Economic
Planning will be organizing for Budget Officers in the Rivers State Civil
