Ex-RSNC Manager Gets Accolades
Family and well-wishers of the former Advert Manager of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC) Mrs Keziah N. Eddeh, Sunday were on hand to pour encomiums on her after a meritorious service and peaceful retirement from public service.
Speaking at a reception ceremony held in her honour by family and friends, after a Thanksgiving Service at St. Pauls Anglican Cathederal in Port Harcourt, General Manager of RSNC, Mr. Celestine Ogolo described her as a disciplined and dedicated staff.
Mr. Ogolo recalled that over 30 years of her service in the public service Mrs Eddeh never had cause to receive query or bad remarks from her superiors.
The RSNC General Manager who described her service as worthy of emulation prayed God to grant her long life and good health as she bows out of public service.
Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Precious Ede said Mrs. Eddeh was a mother to all, coupled with her humane and humble nature, urging both staffers and relatives to emulate her example.
“Mrs Eddeh rose through the ranks and she is retiring strong. I’ am urging those who are aspiring to follow her footsteps, because if you can’t retire and live life after then there is nothing for you”, he said.
In his remarks, Director of Production in RSNC, Alabo Dagogo Clinton said the former Advert manager was a wonderful person and one of those who does not discriminate in her relationship with people.
Alabo Clinton wished her long life and health, while expressing the hope that the dedication which she had shown in her work life would be given to the family and relatives now she has retired from public service.
Mrs Eddeh’s brother and Chairman of Dilomat Farms, Chief Moore Chinda submitted that his sister was a virtuous woman and respectful since from her young days.
Chief Chinda who wished her a peaceful and blissful retirement urged the former RSNC Manager not to relent in her good works as time had come to contribute her experience to society.
The First son of Mrs Eddeh, Emeka lauded her mother for her discipline, dedication and love for family. He thanked the guests for honouring his mother and wished them goodluck in their ventures.
