Sharks FC Beats Ocean Boys, Targets Better Days
The interim coach of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, Daboere
Dokubo has expressed confidence that his team would get good result in the last
fixture of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) against Rangers FC of Enugu.
Coach Dokubo made this feeling known in an interview with
sports journalists shortly after his side defeated Ocean Boys FC 2-0 in a
rescheduled league match played at the weekend at the Sharks FC stadium, Port
Harcourt.
According to him, he was surprised that the visitors turned
up for the game noting that the club had not been honouring their matches for
some time now.
“I am really surprised that Ocean Boys showed-up for this
game, because they have not been honouring their matches, but I am an apostle
of prepare for the unknown”.
“There will be improvement in our next game against Rangers,
we are going to get a good result in that game”, Dokubo said.
He continued that the victory over Ocean Boys was as a
result of good preparation otherwise the story could have been different.
Reacting to the allegation that their visitors fielded
unregistered players he explained that as a coach he has ledged his complaints
saying that the next step is for NPL board to do their job effectively.
