NFF Recalls Olajire
Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire has been recalled from suspension after about four months.
Olajire was suspended on July 26 after a national anthem mix-up during an African Youth Championship qualifier in Abuja.
But NFF Executive Committee member Christopher Green said after a review of the case, Olajire was found to be innocent.
“He has been forgiven and recalled, and will return to his duty post immediately,” Green said. “The board reviewed the case and discovered that the offense for which he was suspended was not even his responsibility.”
Olajire will now be expected to resume duties today, taking over from Robinson Okosun, who has held the position in a temporary capacity over the last four months.
