Lawmaker Rates Fubara’s Administration High On Infrastructural, Human Capacity Dev
The lawmaker represening Ogu/Bolo Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Arnold Davids, has rated the administration of Governor Siminalaye Fubara high on human and infrastructural development.
Davids, who stated this in a press release made available to newsmen recently in Port Harcourt, also called for synergy between the various levels of government in the country to improve the living conditions of the people.
He said Governor Fubara has within the last few months in office distinguished himself in terms of alleviating the sufferings of the people.
Davids cited the ongoing Port Harcourt Ring Road, and the numerous infrastructural projects across the 23 local government areas as evidence of good governance in the State.
According to the press release signed by his media aide, Godspower Abereniboye, the lawmaker also commended the Governor for the promotion of civil servants and the ongoing employment into the Rivers State Civil Service.
According to the release, Hon Davids also called for support to both the Rivers State and the Federal Government to enable government tackle the present economic challenges facing the country.
He said the support of Nigerians is needed now that the country is passing through the prevailing critical moment.
The lawmaker also expressed hope of a better and prosperous nation, saying, Nigeria is richly endowed in human and material resources to propel it to desired greatness.
The lawmaker, the release stated, “is seeking for a strong synergy among various levels of government to put in place sound vision to fast, track development”.
Davids assured that he would work assiduously to attract development projects to Ogu-Bolo Local Government.
He noted that the only insurance to development in the constituency is peace, and urged the people to sustain the prevailing peace in the area.
