The lawmaker representing Khana and Gokana Local Government Areas in the House of Representatives, Hon Dumnemene Deekor, has said the coming of the General Oversear (GO) of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William F. Kumiyi to Ogoniland will end the killings and cultism in his senatorial district.
Considering himself lucky to be part of what he considers a “success story in Ogoni land”, by being among those who received Kumuyi, the lawmaker noted that “Ogoniland has been involved in a lot of killings and cult crises”.
Hon Deekor said this on Wednesday after welcoming the GO of the Deeper Life Bible Church who came for the Global Crusader in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
“I am receiving the man of God to my senatorial district because this land has been involved with a lot of crises all over,” Hon Deekor said.
He thanked the Khana Local Government Council Chairman, Dr. Bariere Thomas, for “his boldness in ensuring that peace comes to Ogoniland.
Also speaking, the Chairman emphasised that the GO’s visit will enhance peace and end all types of crises in his LGA.
While calling on the youth in the area to attend the program, he assured the GO that they are going to be part of the crusade.
