Ship With Frozen Fish, Others Arrive Eastern Ports, Today
A cargo sea going vessel laden with frozen fish is expected at Rivers Port Complex today with five others due in other Eastern Ports.
Other ships are due to berth at Onne and Calabar Ports, respectively.
This was contained in the current Weekly Shipping Position by Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), copy of which was made available to TheTide in Port Harcourt.
The ships for the three Eastern Ports are laden with Frozen Fish (FF), Gypsum in Bags, Bulk Wheat and LNG.
The Publication listed the names of the vessels as WindRay Reefer, Maria, Tomin Alize, and Don Reefer for Rivers Port.
Others are LNG Ogun for Onne, and Bold Voyager for Calabar Port.
The Manifest listed the names of agents for Rivers Port Complex as SamChan Holdings, JFDOR, Nenac. Comet Shipping Services and Allison Shipping Nigeria Limited are for Onne and Calabar Ports, respectively.
The arrival of the ships today is expected to create more markets for FF, LNG and Bulk wheat dealers in the Eastern region and promote maritime activities.
