Cooperative Firm Wants Self Dev Of Enterpreneurs
The President/Chairman of Matrixx Co-operative and Credit Society Limited in Port Harcourt, Dr. Larry Goodwill Ajiola, has stressed the need for self development of entrepreneurs in 2022.
Dr. Ajiola, who said this in his advice to his members, noted that self development would make them relevant as entrepreneurs in their areas of businesses and life endeavors.
The President who is also a UN Eminent Peace Ambassador, said self development would also enable them to excel, saying that “people will begin to look for you to give them administrative advice as a knowledgeable entrepreneur.
“Be focused and add value to yourself. People will come seeking your help and you would become very important”, he stated.
He continued that most SMEs do not do well due to lack of knowledge in the business they are into.
According to him, venturing into a business without proper training and self development has accounted for many business closures within the first two years of commencement, adding that in 2022 many businesses would receive financial aid in the name of government loans and grants.
He, however, warned members of co-operatives and SMEs at large against scammers who parade different sites for loans and grants application, saying, “clicking on those sites causes additional poverty as they rub the little one in your hands”.
Abiola, therefore, urged members to avoid distractions, adding that devotion and commitment produces results in business.
