VC Shares Food Items To Elderly
The Vice Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area in the State, Mrs Angela A. Oju-Kienmie, has distributed food and other items to the elderly
The outreach programme was focused on aged women and men in Ottoni Ama, Nkoro Kingdom.
According to her, she is passionate and committed to fulfill her electioneering campaign promises.
“I am passionate about the aged men and women in the area. Besides, I am committed to human capacity development,” Oju-Kienmie said.
Responding, Elder Gibson Odey, who spoke on behalf of the elders expressed their gratitude to the vice Chairman for the gesture.
“We are happy that at this moment of the year we were remembered. We also pray that God should continue to use her to bless the elderly people and enjoy the dividends of democracy” Odey said.
He appealed to the vice chairman to tackle the issue of inadequate electricity supply in Nkoro Kingdom.
