Party Chieftain Tasks PDP Chairmanship Candidate On Performance

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Pastor Ejekwu Princewill, has called on the chairmanship flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming local government election to emulate the leadership qualities of Rivers State governor, Chief Nyesom Wike in project execution.
Princewill who said this on the sideline of the just concluded presentation of flags to candidates of the party by Governor Wike said the expectation of the people was high as far as the forthcoming election is concerned.
He said Hon Vincent Job must prove that he had has what it takes to bring the desired democratic dividends to the area.
According to him, performing beyond expectations remains the only way to silence the opposition.
Princewill expressed optimism that PDP would certainly emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections based on quality service delivery and people oriented project executed by PDP governors particularly the State governor, Chief Nyesom Wike.
The ONELGA PDP Chairman said he had no doubt on the candidates of PDP at the LGA level in complementing Governor Wike’s developmental strides.
In a related development, PDP stalwart, Chief Olowu Martins has described ONELGA PDP chairmanship candidate, Vincent Job as an unbeatable and extraordinary candidate.
Chief Martin said the art of sportsmanship shown by the contestants deserved commendations.
The party stalwart said the acceptance of Vincent’s candidacy across board showed he is a good man.
“He had listening ears, humble and ability to attract membership. The servant leader spirit in him and doggedness had timely paid,” he said.

Technology Key to Nigeria’s Socio-Economic Development, Says Computer Scientist
Dr. Legborsi Emmanuel, former state Chairman of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), has emphasized that technology is the sure way for Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
He made this assertion while speaking with newsmen at the sideline of 118th inaugural lecture series of Rivers State University (RSU) held in port Harcourt, wednesday.
He stressed that the lecture, which focused on emerging technology and its impact on the socio-economic development of the country, aligns with the NCS’s economic focus.
He highlighted the importance of building an economy driven by technology, citing the success of the Rivers State Smart Economy policy as an example.
The computer scientist emphasized the need for innovation and doing things differently, asserting that “technology is the only way out” for Nigeria’s development. He praised the lecturer, Professor Mathias Daniel, for exploring the applications of technology in various sectors, including agriculture, industry, transport, and socio-economics.
Dr. Emmanuel underscores the critical role technology plays in driving socio-economic growth and development in Nigeria by leveraging technology, the country can unlock new opportunities and address pressing challenges.
