Vigilantes Arrest Suspected Drug Peddlers
Two suspected drug peddlers have been apprehended by members of the Rumuagholu Security Planning and Advisory Committee, in the area and recovered some illicit drugs.
The local security body also apprehended a nineteen year old boy, who allegedly had canal knowledge of his thirteen year-old cousin, alongside other three suspects for alleged burglary.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, Commander of RUSPAC who doubles as the Community Development Committee Chairman, Henry Nyebuchi-Amadi said the suspects were arrested based on information on the activities of the drug dealers in the area.
Nyebuchi-Amadi disclosed that six suspects were arrested by the vigilante, explaining that two of them were drug sellers, noting that all the suspects would be handed over to the appropriate authorities.
Meanwhile, the nineteen year old boy, who allegedly had canal knowledge of his thirteen year-old cousin denied the allegations levelled against him.
