Stakeholders Laud Wike Over Support To Eleme

Stakeholders in Eleme Local Government Area, have lauded the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, for standing with the LGA in its time of need, and supporting to ensure the sustainable peace, security and economic development of the area.
The stakeholders made the commendation on the sideline, of the official inauguration of the 126-shop Akpajo ultra modern market built by the local government council, last Tuesday.
Speaking at the event, Commissioner for Finance, Hon Isaac Kamalu commended the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, who, according to him, has not hesitated in granting requests on any issue concerning Eleme people, describing the governor’s posture as a demonstration of love for the people of Eleme.
Kamalu assured that Eleme people would continue to partner with the Rivers State Government to bring development to the people of the area.
“We want to assure you that every government project in this community will not only be monitored and placed in good conditions, but we will continue to partner with the government for the growth of our people”, Kamalu added.
The Paramount Ruler of Eleme, Dr Philip Osaro Obele, thanked the governor for his unequivocal love towards the people of Eleme, by entrusting such a sensitive financial position to the people of Eleme by the appointment of one of their sons, Hon. Isaac Kamalu, as commissioner for finance, adding that they were proud and grateful to him.
Obele further thanked the governor for turning Akpajo into a small Dubai, adding that by this singular action of commissioning the Akpajo Ultra Modern Market, he has added another cap to his success story in governance, and further appealed to the governor to intervene by ensuring the rehabilitation of Eleme internal roads as promised during his re-election campaign.
