Cleric Urges Christians To Trust God
Christians have been admonished not to let their hearts be troubled but have passionate trust and belief in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, for solutions, no matter the difficulties, trials and temptations they may face in life.
The District Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Congregation Nigeria (FTCN), Port Harcourt District, Pastor Gabriel Farayoda gave the charchge during a church service at its No. 3, Bolo Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt, recently.
Farayola, who is also a trustee of the church said when Christians believe in the Father and His Son, they would definitely have solutions to their problems, with their faith that with God, all things are possible.
The man of God, who took his text from the book of St. John 14 Verse 1, titled “Let not your heart be troubled”, said no matter the tribulations and sufferings, God was the only solution, if we believed.
He advised all not to be discouraged when passing through some problems but to look unto God who is the author and finisher of our faith.
The cleric opined that God would reward His children more than their desire, if they put their trust in Him, and aimed at the Heavenly Kingdom as they followed and obeyed His commandments.
“God has given us peace that cannot be found anywhere, and He is able if you believe”, he reiterated, and advised that “God is in control, I believe in Him and I know that He will see me through”.
