Iron Dealers To Mobilise 10,000 Supporters For Wike
Members of Iron Rod Dealers Association, Kala/Rumuepirikom branch, Rivers State have promised to mobilise 10,000 supporters for the re-election of governor of the state, Chief Nyesom Wike in 2019 general elections in the State.
The chairman of the Association, Mr John N. Odimegwu stated this while speaking with journalists in his office in Port Harcourt at the weekend.
He appealed to the State Chief executive, Chief Nyesom Wike to assign the union in its quest to relocate to better place by providing a parcel of land for that purpose as well as other logistic, adding that the State governor had in his personal capacity been helpful to the association at all times.
The Kala branch Iron Rod Dealers Association helmsman said upon the assumption of office, he constituted traffic decongestion committee and taskforce in other to address the increasing traffic challenges within the market areas to ensure free flow of traffic along the ever busy Ikwerre road.
On the security, the chairman disclosed that the association had a good relationship with the security agents in the area and assured of improved security surveillance in the market, even as he used the opportunity to call on every member of the association to support them.
Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr Augustine Egbu assured that they will work as a team in other to justify the confidence reposed in them by the members of the union, adding that the Association had been noted for its uniqueness.
