OPM Feeds Less Privileged Children
The General Overseer of
Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has reiterated the commitment of the church to the welfare of the less-privileged in the society.
Apostle Chinyere stated this at a luncheon organized for the less-privileged children at the OPM Free Restaurant in Port Harcourt to mark Nigeria’s 56th Independence Anniversary.
He said that the needy should be fed with the word of God as well as physical food to keep their body and soul together, stressing that the church would always ensure the well-being of its members and the general public.
The general overseer of OPM stressed the need to use church offerings for the work of God and the good of all and sundry.
“As the children celebrate and are happy, so also heaven is happy and celebrating”, he added.
The children who were brought to the venue of the luncheon by their parents and guardians were served assorted dishes and also went home with special packs.
Those who spoke with our correspondent in an interview expressed appreciation to Apostle Chinyere for the various ways he had impacted positively on the lives of the people.
They prayed God to continue to strengthen him, grant him wisdom and long life to do more exploits for Him.
