VC Lauds Ambode For Ongoing Road Rehabilitation
Vice-Chancellor, Lagos
State ?University (LASU) Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, had lauded Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State for the rehabilitation of roads and other projects in the institution.
Fagbohun, in an interview with newsmen that the development would enhance the teaching and learning environment at the institution.
He said that apart from the road network in the institution, street lights would be installed to enhance security.
The vice chancellor said that work on the Students Arcade, Senate building, and other projects was nearing completion.
Fagbohun said the governor had also settled some of the debts owed by the university.
The vice chancellor said the University had received research grants and support from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) to build the School of Agriculture at Epe.
Fagbohun said fund had been earmarked for the renovation of the university staff quarters while the staff buses had commenced daily shuttle along Badagry axis.
He said the staff for their selfless support to the management, had promised to prioritise their welfare.
