Foundation Urges Care For Less Privileged
The founder of
Project Charilove, Mr Chris Omusi, a foundation for children with special needs, has called on Nigerians to show love to the less privileged in the society.
Omusi made the call during the 2014 Christmas and End of Year Party organised by the foundation in Benin, recently.
“The greatest sacrifice you can give to God is showing love to the poor so that they can be as happy as you are.
“People, especially the wealthy, should learn to give to the needy so that their wealth will not be transferred to other persons.
“If Nigerians can learn to be their brothers’ keeper, the country will be heaven on earth” he said.
A mother of a physically challenged child, Mrs Juliet Evbuomwan, called on parents to show love to their wards who were physically challenged.
According to her, “when you have a disabled child, do not blame God but show love to the child.
“By so doing, the child will not feel rejected and would see himself as part of the society,” Evbuomwan said.
