Ikuru Thanks Amaechi, Rivers People For Prayers

Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, has expressed appreciation to his boss, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the people of the State for their prayers and support during the period of his medical challenge.
Engr. Ikuru, who just returned from a medical trip abroad, stated this yesterday while inaugurating a canteen for staff of his office in Government House, Port Harcourt.
According to the Deputy Governor, “I owe a lot of gratitude to God and my boss, Governor Amaechi, and indeed the people of this State for the prayers I received during this period. I’m better now,” urging everyone to continue to pray for the State that God’s divine will will be actualised as we approach the 2015 election year.
Inaugurating the canteen, Engr. Ikuru counselled his staff to make judicious use of the opportunity it affords them to make themselves comfortable at work, urging them to endeavor to keep the environment clean at all times.
Senior Pastor of the Super Life Church, Pastor Songo Whyte, offered prayers to dedicate the canteen to God and to the benefit of the staff.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the Permanent Secretary in the Deputy Governor’s Office, Evangelist Edmund Oloko, thanked the Deputy Governor for the canteen, praying for more of God’s blessings on him and his family, assuring him of their continuous support and dedication to duty.
