Ighalo Looks Forward To Spanish Experience
Nigeria’s Olympic team attacker, Odion Ighalo is longing for the Spanish season to begin.
He told Tidesports source that he has always wanted to work hard and will take it like he did in the Spanish second division.
“Playing against the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid will be very normal to me. It is the same I have been doing just that I have to work harder and step up my game,” Ighalo said.
“It will be a very difficult terrain out there but it is football and we will play it like we have been playing it all along.
“Will I be awed by the likes of Barca, Madrid and Malaga? I seriously doubt it. I will be up to it; will look forward to it, but eventually, I will play with my club in the La Liga like I have always been playing,” Ighalo said.
Odion Ighalo who had previously played for Prime, Julius Berger, Lyn and Udinese incidentally scored the goal that took Granada to the Spanish Premier League.
