The Chairman who gave the charge at the chieftaincy coronation of the paramount ruler of Omagwa, Chief Jacob Wagorchi Orji, Nyenwe-Ali Omagwa during the week, commended the people for their peaceful disposition, especially as it affects chosing and installation of new paramount ruler, noting that no meaningful development is sited in a violent environment.
He enjoined the new Eze to engage in meaningful activities that would ensure accelerated development of the area, stressing that Chief Orji should as well lobby for the recognition of the stool by government, since the Omagwa Chieftaincy stool was recognized by the colonial government in 1901.
