Marshall Harry Memorial Lecture Holds Monday
The first memorial lecture in honour of late Dr Marshall Harry is to hold at the Atlantic hall of Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt on July 6, 2009.
The late Harry, a chieftain of the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), was killed at his Abuja residence on March 5, 2003.
A statement issued in Port Harcourt by Mr Kenneth Robinson, the lecture co-ordinator, said that the main objective of the lecture is to help immortalize the late politician as well as serve as a “veritable platform for exchange of ideas on leadership, foster better relations in the nation’s polity and accentuate the importance of good leadership”.
Former Head of State, Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), will be the chairman of the occasion while Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), President of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) will be the guest speaker.
Meanwhile, King Theophilius Princewill, the Amayanabo of Kalabari will be the royal father of the day.
