God Chose PH To Reach Out To Millions – Kolenda
An international evangelist, Daniel Kolenda says the on going Christ for All Nations gospel crusade in Port Harcourt is designed by God to reach out to millions of people in Rivers State and the Niger Delta.
Evangelist Kolenda, who arrived the city last Wednesday night told journalists at the Port Harcourt International Airport that he believed that God sent him to Port Harcourt to reach out to millions of people both in Rivers State and beyond.
He said Port Harcourt was chosen for the crusade after several intercessions for Africa by the organisation.
“I believe that God sent me to Port Harcourt to reach out to millions. We intercede for Africa every year and God chose Port Harcourt”.
The fiery evangelist said the gospel would be preached at every corners of the city including the villages and prisons for people to receive Christ.
Kolenda also said that the fire conference which is an aspect of the crusade was designed to prepare pastors and church workers with a view to making them take the gospel to the nooks and crannies of the state.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up around the Eastern By-pass area of Port Harcourt.
Chairman, security committee of the crusade, Apostle Eugene Ogu told newsmen that enough security arrangement had been made for the crusade.

RSG INAUGURATES ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMITTEE
The Rivers State Government has inaugurated a Central Planning Committee to organize the celebration of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) in the State.
The committee was formally inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Benibo Anabraba in Port Harcourt, last Thursday.
Dr Anabraba who also serves as Chairman of the Committee
highlighted the State Government’s deep appreciation for the sacrifices of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who laid down their lives for the nation’s peace and unity.
“These heroes have given their lives for the security and peace of our nation and deserve to be celebrated. The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is an opportunity to show our gratitude for their sacrifice,” he said.
Dr. Anabraba further extended recognition to all Security Agencies in the State, emphasizing the importance of the event in appreciating their contributions to national security and sovereignty.
The annual Armed Forces Remembrance Day, observed on January 15 across the country is dedicated to remember Nigeria’s departed soldiers and honouring the nation’s veterans.
