Omokri Frowns At Buhari’s Return
Reactions have continued to trail President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from his 10 days vacation in London.
Buhari who travelled to London on the 3rd of August returned on Friday evening and was received by a mammoth crowd including top political office holders in the country.
As many expressed excitement for his safe arrival, others gnashed their teeth and frowned at his return. Mrs Lauretta Onochie, social media aide to Mr. President was among those who expressed total concern over Buhari’s return.
She made this known via her statement on her tweeter handle. Her words,
“The Eagle has landed. A picture of health, ready to continue to serve Nigerians. “Poised to continue to astound the Tambuwals of this world. Welcome home, the nightmare of the corrupt and the wicked. We love you, friend and hope of the poor, the weak and the vulnerable”.
On the other way round, the former social media aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri was fast to condemn Mr. President for returning. Expressing his feelings via his tweeter handle, Omokri opined that Buhari should not have returned following the peace he claimed Nigerians were enjoying during the active leadership of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
His words, “The brand ambassador of London, the face of holidaying in the UK, the unelected mayor of London and the Chief Marketing Officer of Visit England, Muhammadu Buhari, is back in town for another visit to Aso Rock before jetting out to his real abode, London.
Welcome back. “In 10 days of acting as President, Prof. Osinbajo achieved more than Buhari has in 3 years. He improved security by sacking incompetent Daura and overhauling SARS. For the first time in months, there were no herdsmen killings and Boko Haram bombings. Why did Buhari have to return?
