Saudi Club Offered Million Dollars For Chikatara – Inyama
Abia Warriors chairman,
Emeka Inyama, has revealed that a Saudi Arabian club had tabled a million dollar offer for Chisom Chikatara, but it was not considered because the young striker’s career must come first.
“We had a club from Saudi Arabia to pay a million US dollars for Chikatara, but we did not consider it because the development of the player and not the cash will always be our priority,” Inyama told newsmen.
“As long as he continues to develop as a player, the money will come.”
The CHAN 2016 revelation is expected to play his final Nigeria league game for Abia Warriors this weekend at home against Plateau United before he jets out on Monday for his new club, whose identity is still being under wraps by officials.
