The Club Owners
Association of Nigeria has expressed shock at the death of former Kano Pillars chairman, Mohammed Sanni Usman.
The former football administrator and seasoned match commissioner died last Friday, leaving behind two wives and seven children.
Acting Secretary of the Club Owners, Alloy Chukwuemeka described Usman’s death as a rude shock to the football fraternity, and especially to the Club Owners where he was once an active member.
In a statement released by the Club Owners, the association offered its condolences to the immediate family of the departed administrator, his friends, the management of Kano Pillars, as well as the government and people of Kano State, while also praying for the repose of his soul.
The association has appointed a three-man delegation made up of Sabo Babayaro of Kaduna United, Abba Yola of Kano Pillars and Zanna Mala of El Kanemi Warriors to attend his funeral.
