Nine Injured In Sharks Auto Crash
At least nine people were injured when a vehicle carrying players and officials of Premier League club Sharks was involved in an auto accident on Sunday.
Sharks were due to play against Plateau United but were forced to abort the trip on the outskirts of Jos, after reports came in that the city was still not safe for them to enter.
On their way back to Abuja, one of the vehicles carrying officials and some players, somersaulted, leaving a number of the occupants with varying injuries.
Among the injured are striker Victor Ezeji, Senegalese defender Ousmane Pape and junior international Terry Envoh.
Assistant coach Kennedy Boboye, Goalkeeper, Coach Ernest Teigbanyo, and Media Officer Confidence Idaa also suffered injuries.
