The Tide Man Loses Father-In-Law
A senior journalist with the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC) publishers of The Tide newspapers in Port Harcourt, Mr. Donatus Ebi, has lost his father-in-law, Chief Enoch Nyenwenwo Nene who hails from Rumuekini Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Until his death on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, Chief Enoch Nyenwenwo Nene was one of the oldest men in the community. He was aged 110 years. He is the father of Mrs Joy Ogonda Ebi, wife of Mr Ebi.
Known for his forthrightness and an innate love for justice, equity and fairness, Chief Nene was a community leader, farmer and businessman.
