Rivers Youth Leader Charges Coodinators To Protect Port Harcourt Ring Road Project
The chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Rivers State and South South Zone, Amb Chijoike Ihunwo has charged various youth leaders in the villagers and, local government areas to protect the Ring work project in their areas.
The road cuts across six local Government Areas in the state.
Amb Ihunwo stated this in his office in Portharcourt when addressing newsmen on the need for Rivers Youth to support the government of Sim Fubura who according to him has alot to offer for Rivers people.
The Rivers Number one Youth charged Rivers Youth leaders in the local government areaAs to ensure they provide security for the works and ensure they protect government projects in there localities.
Amb Chijoike Ihunwo said the Ring work project will provide opportunity and open local areas, town, village and Communities for more roads and development in the areas.
He commended the state government for his foresight in opening up Communities villagers and local government for development.
Ihunwo urged the House of Assembly to make laws where companies operating in the local government or community will employ the youth in the operational based to reduced unemployment of the Youth.
According to him the government cannot employ everybody and advised corperate bodies individuals and companies to assist and ensure they employ the youth from there operationing based.
The NYCN Chairman of Rivers State and South South advised the government to look into Agriculture that will provide massive food, and also employ our youth.
