CSO Seeks Support For Monarch
In a bid to sustain peace existing at Obonoma in Akuku-Toru local government area of Rivers State, Obonoma Chief Security Officer, Awo Jackrich, has called on the people to give maximum support to the Amanyanabo, king Enemi Dateme
Jackrich also enjoined the monarch to involve everyone and close ranks with those who felt aggrieved for the interest and progress of the area.
Jackrich stated this recently at Obonoma during the coronation of King Dateme as Amanyanabo of Obonoma.
He noted that the peace, unity and progress of the land can be achieved through working together as an indivisible entity.
Jackrich expressed happiness over the recognition and elevation of the stool of Obonoma by the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, describing it as a welcome development.
The CSO hinted that the people of the area would remain grateful to the past administration for placing them on the fast lane of development.
Jackrich said the elevation and recognition of the Obonoma stool by the Rivers State Government has brought love and oneness among the people.
He said the people can now have a voice and do away with issues capable of truncating peace of the area.
He emphasised that peace, calmness and unity of the area should not be compromised, as peace remains a recipe for development.
He said the King will stop at nothing to work with stakeholders with the sole aim of changing the narrative.
Assuring that the issues of security will be treated with seriousness, Jackrich said the peace of Obonoma remains paramount, hence, he will collaborate with conventional security agencies to ensure the safety of the area.
He urged the youths to embrace peace and shun acts inimical to the growth of Obonoma, saying no sacrifice is enough to ensure the peace of Obonoma.
He thanked the notable sons and daughters of Akuku-Toru especially the executive chairman and others for coming to show solidarity for his people at this auspicious tine.
