Nsirim Emerges VP At Old Boys Association
The immediate past Commissioner for Information and Communications in Rivers State, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, has emerged the Vice President of Government Secondary School, Okporowo Ogbakiri Old Students Association in the State.
His emergence follows the recent election of new Executives to run the affairs of the Association for the next two years.
The new Executive has a retired Assistant Comptroller- General of Immigration, Livingstone Amadi, as President.
Other members of the Exco include: Prof. Samuel Otamiri, Secretary; Barrister Alwell Ezebunwo, Assistant Secretary; Dr. Nchelem Elenwo, Internal Auditor; and Mr. Charles Oti, Public Relations Officer.
Also elected are: Prof. Vincent Asuru, Treasurer; Mrs Gloria Orji, Financial Secretary; Barrister Cyril Wagbara, Legal Adviser; and Mr.Jonathan Elechi, who would serve as Provost.
In his acceptance speech, the new President thanked members for the confidence reposed in his team and pledged to provide visionary leadership in the years ahead.
He called on members of the association to rally round his team to achieve greater heights for the Association.
