Mrs Oju-Kienmie For Burial, Saturday
The body of Late Mrs. Leah Anthony Oju-Kienmie (Nee Irimiagha) of Nkoro Town in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area is to be laid to rest on Saturday.
Mrs Oju-Kienmie aged 80, died on the 9th April, 2022 at the Meridian Hospital, Port Harcourt after a brief illness.
According to a funeral programme made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt, the deceased‘s burial will be preceded by service of songs on Wednesday, 15th of June, 2022, at the Eagle Island, Port Harcourt, to be conducted by the Salvation Army Corps Rivers/Bayelsa Division while on Saturday, 18th June, 2022, the body will depart Otaije Mortuary in a motorcade by 8am for Nkoro, to be received by elders and family members. Thereafter, the body will lie in state at her mother’s compound, Ottoni Ama Nkoro, after a brief stop over at her husband’s residence.
The programme, which was signed by Lieutenant Francis Oju-Kienmie for the families said an open air service will hold at the School 1, Nkoro by 10 am to be conducted by the Salvation Army and followed by interment by 12pm.
The statement also said that the ceremony will be rounded off on Sundays, 19th and 26th June, 2022 with thanksgiving services at The Salvation Army Nkoro Corps and at the Salvation Army, Diobu Corps respectively.
