Ariolu Commiserates With Achor Chindah Over Death Of Aide
Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Barrister George Ariolu has commiserated with the family of Elder Victor Achor Chindah on the demise of their son, Chibuchi Victor Chinda who was a personal aide to Hon. Victor Wokeh, Councilor representing Ward 15 in the 9th Obio/Akpor Legislative Council.
The chairman, in a statement, last Saturday, joined other family members, friends and well wishers in praying for the repose of the deceased.
Ariolu, who expressed gratitude to God Almighty, urged the family of the deceased to see his demise as God’s will.
He, therefore, urged the Ward 15 councilor, who was his principal, not to be distracted from his duties and responsibilities which are linked to peace building and developmental achievements in the area.
The aide, Chibuchi Chinda, died after a brief illness in his hometown, Choba, Port Harcourt.
The council chairman who had a brief stopover at Rumuomasi in Ward 8, joined family, friends and well wishers of Barrister Theophilus Owhor to bid farewell to his elder brother, late Elder Nyeche Abraham Ogwutum, who died at age 84 years.
Others who attended the funeral were; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Constituency 1 leader, Elder Peter Chinwo, Legal Adviser of PDP, Rivers State, Barrister Kingsley Chuku, Leader of 8th Obio/Akpor Legislative Council, Prince John Nelson and other eminent Nigerians.
At the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Ariolu attended the reception of Prof. Aleruchi Boniface Oriji, where he encouraged the professor to utilise his knowledge for the interest of the people.
On the entourage of Ariolu were the Chief of Staff, Mr Promise Ogbonda; Supervisor for Works, Amadi Samuel; Supervisor for Women Affairs; Victoria Chinda; Supervisor for Education, Henry Ebere; Special Advisers, Executive Assistants, among others.
