The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his plan to revamp the Port Harcourt Refinery plant.

Obele, who is also a consultant in the oil and gas sector, believed that resuscitation of Port Harcourt Refinery would put an end to fuel importation.
He maintained that the project would open up businesses within the host communities, and make marketers would get products with ease.
According to him, when the Port Harcourt Refinery is revamped, it would enhance the provision and availability of quality petroleum products.
‘It will make us have the best quality of product as against all the rubbish they are importing into Nigeria,’ Obele said.
‘It will make things very easy for marketers by getting products without stress. We have plenty reasons to say thank you, Mr President.’
