Check Out Movies To Watch On Netflix
No fewer than seven of the best Nollywood movies are currently on Netflix and are being viewed world wide. The movies join a large catalogue of files across the world being streamed on the American Media Company Platform.
The seven files currently available are:
Lion Heart: Lion Heart is Genevieve Nnaji’s second co-produced file in Nollywood which features several Nollywood veterans. Genevieve puts emphasies on the family bond and the strength of a woman to turn a dying business around.
Chief Daddy: The recent addition to the Nollywood family on Netflix started streaming on March 15,2019. The Ebony life file, Chief Daddy tells the story of a billionaire industrialist and flamboyant benefactor to a large extended family. Everything goes wrong after he away just before christmass.
The Arbitration: Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, the Arbitration mirrors activities in the high pressure world of Nigerian technology.
A work place affair leads to an alleged rape on emotionally charged arbitration of the case begins.
Fifty: Fifty is the first Ebony life film production that got on Nefflix. Fifty follows the life of four women in their 50s and they live in a way that has never been seen.
Road To Yesterday: A Chimony Onwugbenu production. Road to Yesterday tells the story of a struggling couple who try to save their fading marriage by reconnecting on a road trip.
Falling: Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan and produced by Uduak Isong Oguamanam. Adesua Etomi plays the role of Muna whose love for her husband Imoh is put to the test when an accident lands him deep coma and a new man walks into her life.
The Visit: Directed by Funke Fayoyin and produced by Koga studios. The visit is the first script written by Biodion Stephen. The visit tells the story of the lives of uptight conservative Chidi and Enyema who were thrown into disarray when a loud mouthed hard partying new couple moves in next door when they came over for a visit, both couples realise that their marriages have secret.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
