Omotola Makes 50 Incredible African Women List
Top Nollywood actress,
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, made South Africa Elle magazine’s list of 50 incredible women in Africa.
Omotola was featured alongside some prominent Nigerian women like the former Minister of Solid Minerals and Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Cosmetologist cum humanitarian Modupe Ozolua, renowned film maker, Mildred Okwo, fashion entrepreneur, Omoyemi Akerele in the August edition of Elle South Africa.
The screen goddess, who is also fondly called Omosexy, in 2016 was listed as one of Africa’s top fierce women in the entertainment industry, she also made Time Magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013.
The famous Nigerian actress is now one of the country’s most followed celebrity on facebook, her actual follower account at the time of writing this article was 3,001,897, she is one of the few Nigerian celebrities to have over a million followers on the social network site which is a great achievement for the lovely actress whose verified account on twitter has precisely 830,000 followers, she has 962,000 followers on Instagram, the award winning actress is also ambassador to the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) an Amnesty International activist, Founder of OYEP (Omotola’s Youth Empowerment Programme) and a dedicated philanthropist.
