Igwuruta Monarch Harps On Completion Of Civic Centre
The Paramount Ruler of
Igwuruta in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Nyewali Samuel Wekhe, has charged members of the Civic Centre Project Committee to ensure the success of their assignment.
Eze Wekhe gave this charge while unveiling the site of the civic centre at Igwuruta recently.
He expressed confidence in the calibre of persons appointed into the committee while enjoining them to bring their wealth of experience to ensure the completion of the project on set time.
The paramount ruler also noted that the Civic Centre would be beneficial to the people of Igwuruta and urged all hands to be on deck to facilitate the execution of the project.
According to him, the project is expected to be completed within the next six months with the aid of the state government.
He told the people of Igwuruta that the state government was in support of the project.
Also speaking the chairman of the committee, Chief Ernest Nna Wosu thanked the community for the confidence reposed in them and assured that the committee would leave no stone unturned in a bid to acheve its mandate.
The Financial Secretary of the Committee, Mrs Victoria Ogbuji also urged the people of Igwuruta to always have the welfare of the community in mind.
