husbands among Nollywood actresses has taken a new dimension as most of them are now willing and able to go the extra mile to achieve their aims.
A recent study has shown that in the Nigerian entertainment industry today, interracial marriage has become a common trend. The number of actresses married to foreigners is on the increase and it is expected to rise as the years roll by.
Below are some of the actresses who found love in the arms of foreigners and got married to them. They include.
1 Tosyn Bucknor
This lady got married to a French man called Aurelien-Boyer on Sunday November 15th 2015. They have been long time friends before they decided to tie the nuptial knot this year.
The couple got engaged in August after dating for 2 years.
2. Susan Peters
Susan Peters got married to a Dutchman, Dr. Croon, they tied the knot traditionally on Saturday October 24, 2015 in Benue State. Susan and her beau are said to have been friends for almost a decade before they decided to formalize the relationship.
The Nollywood actress and the Dutchman went to the marriage registry to legalise their union on Saturday October10 this year in Lagos. The two love birds are still savouring their honeymoon.

3. Karen Igho
Karen Igho who found fame as the winner of Big Brother Africa got married in Jos on Saturday, December 13, 2014 to Yaroslav Rakos after they have dated for nine years.
Karen was later delivered of a baby boy at the Mount Sania Roosevelt Hospital in New York on July 4th 2015.
4. Uche Jumbo
Uche Jumbo is unarguably one of the A-listers currently rocking the motion pictures industry in Nigeria. Aside her huge success as an actress, she is also a thriving movie producer with over 12 block busting Flicks such as ‘Damage’ ‘Mother’s Fight’, Misplaced and some other productions to her credit.
The Abriba-Abia State born Thespian walked down the aisle with her US based Puerto Rican husband, Kenny Rodriguez, in a low key wedding that took place on the shore of Puerto Rico in the North Eastern Carribbean.
The wedding which held precisely on May 16, 2012 took many of her teeming fans by surprise. Since they both signed the dotted lines, the couple has been living happily ever after with a cute baby named Mathew to show for it.

Precisely on October 18, 2006 few friends and family members of Anita Hogan, a star of Nigeria’s TV Reality Show, the Gulder Ultimate Search and Nollywood actress gathered at a registry in Eti Osa Local Government in Ikoyi Lagos for her wedding with a Dutch man, Ted Mak.
Indeed, it was a great turning point for the dark skinned actress amidst the compromising photographs of hers that cost her then growing career.
Infact it was a shocking development that instantly wrecked the career of the sensational actress who even allegedly threatened to commit suicide.

Kate Henshaw is undoubtedly one of the most popular actresses in Nollywood. The Cross River State born gifted role interpreter got marrid to a British born James Roderick Nuttal. The couple had their daughter and only child Ella Nuttal in 2000.
Unfortunately, the star actress and her husband are no longer together as husband and wife. The multiple award winning actress and Roderick parted ways amicably in November 2011 due to irreconcilable differences.

They Booed, Threw Bottles At Me – Tems Recounts
R&B star, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has recounted the early-career challenges she faced, revealing that she was once booed out of the stage while performing at a school event.
Speaking in an interview with Newsmen, the Crazy Tings crooner shared that she wasn’t only booed but was also harassed with plastic bottles.
“I remember one time I was going to perform at my school as an up-and-coming singer and I thought I was going to receiving a standing ovation.
“But I got booed. They even threw plastic bottles at me,” she recalled.
Tems explained that despite the embarrassing incident and other such rejections, she remained determined to pursue a career in music.
The Tide Entertainment reports that Tems admitted that some of the initial rejections she faced could be due to her conviction to stick to her originality instead of doing covers or familiar sounds like most of her peers.
The Grammy-winning singer said looking back now, she is glad that she didn’t compromise her style despite the initial pressures.

Primeboy Pleads For Mohbad’s Burial
A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the artiste’s burial nearly three years after his death.
According to him, Mohbad’s body remains in the mortuary since September 12, 2023, pending burial arrangements.
The Tide Entertainment reports that in a statement Primeboy urged the family, public, and government to permit the burial, stating, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”
It would be recalled that Mohbad’s death sparked public outrage, protests, and investigations. Ongoing autopsy examinations, police inquiries, and legal proceedings have delayed burial arrangements amid family disagreements and public scrutiny.
